It has been amazing seeing all the customer photos from the Calla Lily Skort that was released last month. One of the most common questions I get is how to make an upcycled version with a t-shirt panel like my amazing customer & tester Gina of Baby Fish Designs.
Gina was planning to do a tutorial but between homeschooling her 4 kids, sewing up a storm and celebrating her 11 year anniversary (congrats you two!) she didn’t have time to do it right away. So due to popular demand I got busy and am happy to announce there is now an upcycle tutorial included with all Calla Lily Skort purchases from www.eymm.com inspired by the skirt Gina made from Baby Fish Designs.
The upcycle modification tutorial for the Calla Lily Skort has officially been released and can be found in the ‘My Account’ section on the EYMM website after purchasing. You will see it right next to the pattern. The download is a simple 2 page .pdf file with diagrams that show you how to use the upcycle shirt panel of your choice specifically on the skirt portion of the Calla Lily Skort.
Customer Amy was VERY excited when I sent her out the modification tutorial to test and even more excited when she sent me pictures of her very successful first project using them. I LOVE it and can’t wait to make some Monster High ones for the twins.
So if you haven’t already, pick up your copy of the Calla Lily Skort today and make your little lady the perfect skort, whether it’s a frozen princess, my little pony or teenage muntant ninja turtles ;).
