It’s day 4, and the halfway mark of the Kenzie’s Party Dress Blog Tour, today’s blog feature is over at PiePie Designs.
I know I have said this a bunch, but really I don’t know what else to say! Once again this is another stunning dress, my jaw dropped when she sent me sneak peak pictures, it was hard to not share it sooner. She mixed it up by upcycling a sheet for the main fabric, adding an underskirt and using French seams on the skirt to create a truly heirloom quality dress. She also was clever & reused the wide hem of the sheet for the skirt. The thick hem adds even more to the classic heirloom quality and look in my opinion!!! This seriously has me ready to go cut up some of the vintage sheets in my sewing room!
Here are a few pictures but make sure to check out her blog for many more pictures as well as details about the materials she used and what she thought about the pattern.
Don’t forget to follow along this week as more talented ladies share off their creations using the same pattern. Want to get your own copy of Kenzie’s Party Dress & Skirt? Now
