On to month number 3 of the 12 Month Sewing Challenge! You can either just follow along or to participate simply upload pictures of your finished projects to the Everything Your Mama Made & More! 12 Months of Sewing Flickr Group. You are more then weclome to post pictures after the end of the month, but to qualify for a chance to win all entries must be uploaded to Flickr by the 1st day of the next month… in this case APR 1ST 2011. At the end of each months challenge I will have a group of ladies pick out a top ten of their favorites (or post all the entries if 10 or less) that I will post here and then I will let my blog readers vote for their favorite & the winner! If you have a blog of your own that you shared the details of your project on make sure to include the direct link to the post in the comment on your flickr photo so people can check it out. YOU MAY ENTER MORE THEN ONE ITEM. Don’t forget to make sure that your picture entered is set as public otherwise not everyone can see it.
MARCH 2011 12 MONTH SEWING CHALLENGE THEME~~~ TRYING SOMETHING NEW… A NEW PATTERN OR TUTORIAL!
This month is all about trying something NEW! So for this month the theme is ‘trying something new… a new pattern or tutorial’. It can be a free one that you get online, one you are given from a friend or family, one you buy in the store or even one you have had sitting around for years as long as you haven’t made it before. When you upload the pictures make sure to include pattern information. If it is an older pattern (not currently sold by the company) please share the year that way people can find it on Ebay or Etsy if they would like. I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with.
PRIZE~~~ 1 yard of random fabric from my personal stash! The fabric will be a random woven fabric that I pick out (cotton or cotton poly blend) but the winner can choose preference from either kids fabric (boy or girl you choose) or adult (this could be anything except kid prints). I know it’s not a huge prize, but something to get you motivated to sew this month 
. The winning prize will ship free to the US & Canada. If you are out of those countries you are welcome to participate but you will need to pay for shipping over the first $2.50 US.
