Sewing Bits & Pieces, Fabric & MORE!

The last 3 days have been a little crazy around here with lots of preschool, play dates & MAIL!  I got 3 packages in 2 days and haven’t know what to do with my self, I have to many ideas at once.

To start I got a shipment of some of my recent co-op orders.  It included 12 yards of Michael Miller fabrics, 3 Moda charm packs (I already turned on into a skirt!), 2 Mod Kid Kyoko & Kyoko Mini patterns and Olive Ann Designs Lovable Bubble skirt.

The other box that showed up was an order I made with the $25 Sewzannes gift card (plus a little extra I had in PayPal 🙂 ) I won in the Feb. stash game when I sewed up 100 yards in one month!  I got a few yards of this awesome butterfly cotton lycra knit that is thick & super stretchy, and then 1 yard each of 2 cute David & Goliath knit prints & about 10 yards of fold over elastic.

Then the icing on the cake?  Sandi Henderson’s new book that I pre-ordered ‘Sewing Bits & Pieces‘ was released over a week early!  And thanks to Amazon.com it showed up the day it was released.  There are a lot of different types of fabric scrap projects in here that you can always use regular fabric cuts for.  Out of the 35 projects there are at least 10 I want to try right off the bat, and I will probably try more in the future as well.

I have already started cutting out a project from the Sewing Bits & Pieces book & hopefully will have something to share soon :).
