I have got to say that I am over the moon about finding these!!! When the kids were starting out on finger foods I like the Gerber freeze dried mini fruits because they weren’t perishable & way less messy. They are pricey even on sale at 2/$5… its $2.50 per dry oz. Plus when the girls got bigger they were NOT happy about the tiny pieces.
Well last week we were doing some shopping at costco & walked down the snack isle… an isle we normally don’t hit. Anyways I saw these & we HAD to get them. It was $13 something for the box that has 20 packs. Each pack has 1/2 cup of fruit in it & has a dry weight of .35 oz (about 1/3 of the gerber packs, but perfect serving size). It had 2 flavors, Fuji Apple & Strawberry Banana. The best part? They are all natural & preservative free! And for those of you with allergies or sensitive tummies, Brothers-All-Natural Fruit Crisps are peanut/tree nut free, gluten free, soy free, dairy free, vegan, and OU kosher certified.
I wasn’t sure if the kids would go for them, but I shouldn’t have had any doubt. They LOVE them!!! They would eat them with every meal if I let them. The company also has 5 other flavors, but unfortunately they are not nearly as cheap as they are at costco. You can find them online at Amazon, but they will run about $21 for a case of 24. My only wish is that they had larger family size bags instead of all the individual bags. Anyways I thought they were awesome & I highly recommend them so I just had to share! Too rich for my blood! LOL
anyone
I just started weight watchers, so that desire to eat something crispy is satisfied with the Brothers Freeze Dried Fruit. I love the apples, not so much for the pears and now on to trying the strawberries. I read somewhere they are made in China, so I’m a bit turned off. Oh well… I’m losing weight, because this has replaced my urge for snacking! Oh.. by the way for the weight watchers people… the apples are zero points for one packet!
